2010 New Season ahead

As a new year comes up it's the start of a new race season. With an old friend back from the Air Force renewed crewman Casey Crew is a very welcomed addition back on board with XIV Racing. With a full time 2 car team the Renegade 14 and the D39 pure stock it will be a full time effort keeping both cars running. We have been working day and night since the end of 2009 season. 09 was as a terrible year as we have ever had and we are working as hard as we can to make sure 2010 is everything we believe it can be. The Pure Stock division is growing leaps and bounds and we now have 2 motors ready for the season, we have never had these kinds of motors ready for us. The 14 Renegade also has a new power plant and will be ready to contain for wins.

"Last year we lead almost every race we ran but either motor or driver error took us out", says Tucker driver of the D39 and 14, first and for most I have to get more consistent behind the wheel, I have to do a better job communicating what the car is doing and so that Crew Chief Papa Gene can make the changes we need. We have roughly 2 months until the season starts and XIV will be ready to compete.

Others getting ready for the new season is Mike Jackson who will be getting back be hind the wheel of his new stock 8 Camaro. "I’m not a rookie anymore and I want to run up front and we believe we can", says Jackson. Jackson has support from RBR and that only is about as good as it gets.

Heath Williams and the 41 Hollywood team have a new ride coming out for 2010, Williams has teamed up to have the car built and prepared in conjunction with Robbins Race Fabrications. "This car has everything it needs" stated Williams, "It’s really the first car we have ever had that’s this top of the line. I can’t wait for the season to start; I haven’t been this excited in a long time." For Hollywood Heath Williams fans Heath will be running at Cherokee Speedway as will as Union County Speedway which is better known as Buffalo Speedway. We will be posting photos of the new Hollywood machine soon.

Each week the XIV Racing web site will be adding other race teams around the area to let fans know what the favorite drivers and teams are up to.
